As a construction worker you will be responsible to be a working part of a team to perform installation and repairs in Commercial, and Industrial applications. Responsibilities include the erection of structural steel, and installation and repair of process and material handling piping, conveyors, and other equipment or machinery. Other duties may also be required both in field work and in shop work which may include fabrication, and material handling for related jobs.
Responsibilities
- Perform erection of structural steel, and installation and repair of process and material handling piping, conveyors, and other equipment or machinery.
- Operate all-terrain forklifts for assistance in installation.
- Enjoy working in a variety of environments both inside and outside.
- Willingness to work in inclement weather
- Be comfortable with working at heights on aerial platforms and on top of structures
- Have stamina to work for long periods of time
- Willing to comply with all safety OSHA/MSHA requirements and procedures (lock out/tag out etc.)
- Be willing to wear PPE at all times
- Be able to safely push, pull, lift 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Maintain consistent attendance
- Must be willing to obtain MSHA certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have reliable transportation to office location
- Must have prior experience in the industrial sector (etc. millwright, structural construction, process/material handling equipment installation, general maintenance
- Ability to pass drug and background check
- Must have valid Utah Driver's license with no major infractions (DUI, etc.)
